Dear APA Members,
On behalf of the nominating committee (Chair: Darwin Conwell, Members: Joe Hines, Margaret Tempero, Rodger Liddle, Aida Habtezion, Ashok Saluja), I would like to solicit your help in nominating the next Councilor and President-elect to the APA Board. Candidates may come from any branch of pancreatology, including medical or surgical pancreatologists, GI endoscopists, GI radiologists, basic scientists, or pathologists specifically focused on the pancreas. We try to maintain a useful distribution of specialists interested in the pancreas to provide us the maximum coverage of the field.
Please provide your suggested names of APA members, along with a paragraph describing their qualifications, and their CV or NIH-style biosketch. It would be appropriate to ensure that the nominee is willing to serve. Please send your nominations no later than Tuesday, September 25th to apa@apapancreas.org. These nominations will be discussed & the nominating committee will put forth a recommended slate for vote during the business meeting.
